A new bakery, offering bagels and more, has opened its doors in the neighborhood. Called Asa’s Bakery, the fresh arrival is located at 3507 23rd Ave. South in Corcoran.

Asa’s Bakery offers a variety of breads, with menu items ranging from bagels, buns and rolls. There are also breakfast sandwiches on the menu. 

The newcomer has already attracted fans thus far, with a 4.5-star rating out of four reviews on Yelp.

Matt C., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Dec. 8, wrote, “This is the real deal folks. A magical bakery that makes bagels, bialys and bread.”

Yelper Ted R. added, “As an ex-New Yorker bagel maven, I can attest that you are making the real deal. The bagels have excellent taste and texture, which is something that seems elusive for just about every bagel shop.”
