Roseto Bakery shutters retail location but will continue outside sales –

Restaurant News

If you just pulled up to the Roseto Bakery to get a tomato pie, get back in your car and prepare to be re-routed.

That’s because the bakery’s retail location is no longer operating. Instead, they’ve focused all their efforts elsewhere. They announced the change at the start of the new year on Facebook.

Antoine Saba, who owns the bakery with his wife, felt it was time for a change.

“It wasn’t an easy decision,” he said in a text message. “My wife and I are hands-on, as most small business owners are. We decided to scale back and it made sense to close the retail and concentrate on wholesale accounts.”

Still attending to their wholesale distributors, the bakery posted a list of locations on Facebook where you can acquire their delicacies. Those include Ruggiero’s Market, Main Street Market, Johnsonville General Store, Comunale’s Italian Market and others.
