AS much as we’d love to treat ourselves to a Colin the Caterpillar cake on a daily basis, we only really get to have this sweet treat at children’s parties or the occasional office birthday celebration.
That said, it turns out you can actually buy Colin and Connie caterpillar WEDDING cakes – and one bride and groom have proudly shown off their impressive display.
In a picture shared on the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo Bridal Boutique Facebook page, the couple had the two large cakes displayed on forest-themed podiums for guests to admire.
Naturally, Colin and Connie were also dressed up a bride and groom, complete with top hat and a white chocolate veil.
And just when we thought it couldn’t get any cuter (or delicious), the pair then added three more rows of mini Connie the Caterpillar cakes underneath for their guests to pick at.
Naturally, the impressive display – which has racked up over 16,000 comments – has sent M&S fans wild as brides gushed about recreating it at their wedding.
One replied: “This is actually genius!!”
Another gushed: “Could deffo help with the budget. PLUS BEST. CAKE. EVER.”
Meanwhile, a third added: “That’s fantastic. Caterpillar cakes all the way.”
And others labelled it a “must” for their own special days.

Better still, these budget-friendly cakes cost just £50 each which is a whole lot cheaper than ordering a specially-made cake for your big day.
What’s more, each of the Colin and Connie cakes can feed up to 40 guests.
Although that does depend on how restrained your loved ones are of course…
