Tickets are selling out as more big names hit the lineup.
Philly Chef Conference is just over two weeks away, and they’re still adding to the lineup. In addition to announcing an excellent chef lineup for the opening reception, the conference team added a live podcast recording to Sunday’s schedule of events.
All three podcasts are part of Heritage Radio network’s roster of food-related shows. For All in the Industry, Shari Bayer will interview North Carolina-based chef and restaurateur Katie Button. Korsha Wilson will interview Erick Williams of Virtue in Chicago for her podcast A Hungry Society, and Jenny Goodman and Alex McCrery of Opening Soon will interview Enrique Limardo of DC’s Seven Reasons.
The podcasts recording will take place at 10 a.m. on Sunday. Tickets are $25 and include breakfast from chef Brad Daniels. Only 40 seats are available. Find them here.
There are still a few tickets remaining for Sunday evening’s opening session, which includes a panel on the topic of chef memoirs hosted by Esquire‘s food editor Jeff Gordinier with Phyllis Grant, Kwame Onwuachi and Jean-George Vongerichten. A reception will follow with bites from several of Esquire’s 2019 best new restaurants in including Bon Temps of Los Angeles, Virtue of Chicago, Pizzeria Beddia (hey, Philly!), Rezdora of New York and Bachour of Miami. Cocktails will be from Esquire’s beverage director of the year, Chelsea Gregoire. Philly’s own Tyler Akin will also preview dishes from his upcoming project in Wilmington, Delaware Le Cavalier at the Green Room. For the full lineup of events, click here.
