SUFFOLK, Va. – A Suffolk business advertises their new ‘coronavirus’ doughnuts in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.

O’doodleDoo’s Donuts shared their new specialty doughnut on Facebook that resembles the coronavirus strain. In a comment, the business said “It’s a corona sprinkle donut.”

The Suffolk bakery faced backlash in 2018 after advertising Tide Pod- themed doughnuts following the dangerous “Tide Pod Challenge.”

The Virginia Department of Health announced Virginia’s first death from coronavirus Saturday,

Governor Northam announced Thursday the closing of all schools as the state is currently under a state of emergency amid the coronavrirus pandemic.
