CLEVELAND, Ohio — There’s no better cure for a case of cabin fever than a good pizza.
Dining in restaurants is banned until further notice due to the coronavirus crisis, but you can most likely still get a slice from your favorite local pizza shop. Pizza, after all, was made for take out or delivery.
Luckily, Cleveland is a great pizza town. Picking a pizza place is almost as difficult as deciding what toppings to get. We’re here to help with 15 places to get an awesome pie in Northeast Ohio.

A Slice Above

Considered by many local residents as the best pizza shop in the ‘Ville, the Vegetable Patch Pizza was mentioned in Thrillist’s list of best pizza places in Cleveland.
Antonio’s Pizza

Antonio’s has been a favorite of pizza lovers in the western suburbs for more than 50 years. Their stand at Parmatown was, wait for it, legendary.

Bar Cento

The Sunnyside, featuring house-made pancetta, mozzarella, black pepper, and runny eggs, was recognized as the best pizza in Ohio by Zagat and Food Network.
Capri Pizza

Perhaps the best New York-style pizza this side of the Hudson, Capri’s large and thin slices are meant to be folded.
Citizen Pie

One of the best crusts in Cleveland: fluffy and a little bit charred on the outside, thin, but with just the right amount of bite on the inside.

Geraci’s

In operation since the mid 1950s, Geraci’s pepperoni pizza has achieved iconic status in Cleveland’s east side suburbs.

Il Rione Pizzeria

Their Margherita Pizza with Calabrian Chiles was included in cleveland.com’s list of 50 Best Things to Eat in Cleveland in 2019.
Luigi’s Restaurant

This cash-only dive is an Akron classic. Besides pizza, don’t miss the salad, which is basically a bowl of fresh cheese with a side of lettuce. What’s not to like?
Mama Santa’s

Little Italy is full of authentic pizza joints, but Mama Santa’s nearly 60-year-old Sicilian pizzeria is arguably the most beloved.

Noce Gourmet Pizzeria

Diners love Noce for its unique baguette-like crust– light, crispy, and flaky on the outside, moist and fluffy on the inside.
Ohio Pie Co.

Owner Nick Robson has taken everything he loves about the pizza he grew up with to introduce Ohio Style Pizza, a round, square-cut pizza with a not-too-thin/not-too-thick crust and finished off with a swirl of his own signature sauce.
