Miami Beach, FL-based vegan French patisserie L’Artisane Creative Bakery has been able to stay in business during the outbreak of COVID-19 because of one loyal customer: eCommerce expert Adam Grohs. Soon after the bakery closed its doors due to the pandemic, Grohs contacted L’Artisane co-owner Carolina Molea via Instagram with an offer to help her set up the ability to sell her goods online as part of his “Keep Small Strong” initiative—which aims to help save small businesses across the United States.

L’Artisane’s new website was launched within days along with nationwide delivery, and now allows customers to purchase one-time or monthly subscription orders of the bakery’s popular items, such as croissants, brownies, gourmet cookies, madeleines, or an assortment of macarons, cookies, cake, pate de fruits, chocolate truffles, and gourmet popcorn. “This is a hard time for everyone, but our story is about resilience,” Molea told VegNews. “It’s about a community that supports small businesses and the incredible things people can do to help each other in the hardest time. This is a story about hope, support, and vegan croissants.”
