Bakery donates more than 8 tons of food for relief efforts – Bucks County Courier Times

NEW HOPE — La Brea Bakery donated more than 17,000 pounds of food recently to the New Hope Eagle Fire Co. to support those in need during the coronavirus pandemic.

Within 24 hours, fire company members were able to distribute all 8.5 tons of food to the community, local food banks, school districts, churches and other nonprofit organizations.

“It’s the generosity of companies like La Brea Bakery that truly makes a difference during these trying times,” said fire company President Chad M. Block. “The dedication of our members to be able to reach out to so many people and to be able to help those in need makes me so proud to be the president of this amazing company.”
