The Bathinda police registered a case against two employees of a Domino’s Pizza outlet for allegedly violating curfew orders by starting home delivery of food in the city.

The police said they got a tip-off that the outlet was delivering pizzas in the city. They conducted a raid and arrested manager Sanjay Kumar of Kamla Nehru Colony and supervising manager Manish Baghel, a resident of DD Mittal Tower in the city. However, they were released on bail later.

The duo were booked under Sections 188 (disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant), 269 (negligent act likely to spread infection of disease dangerous to life), 270 (malignant act likely to spread infection of disease dangerous to the life), and Sections 51 and 52 of the Disaster Management Act, 2005 and Section 2 of the Epidemic Disease Act, 1897.
