Healthy banana-wheat cake – Onmanorama

1½ cups wheat flour

2 ripe bananas (Robusta)

½ cup coco powder

2 eggs

¾ cup sugar

1 tsp baking soda

¼ tsp salt

1/3 cup oil

1 tsp vanilla essence

½ cup milk


Mash the bananas using a fork or in a blender

Into it add the eggs, oil, sugar and vanilla essence

Mix well

Pass the wheat powder, baking soda and coco powder together through a sieve

Add the powders into the banana-vanilla mix

Fold the batter well

Add milk to loosen the batter

Pour the cake batter into a greased cake tin

Bake it for 50-55 minutes in a pre-heated oven at 165 degree Celsius.
