CLEVELAND, Ohio – Today – Friday, May 15 – marks the first day restaurant patios in Ohio can be reopened since Gov. Mike DeWine announced shutdown restrictions on businesses March 15.
Inside dining will be allowed beginning Thursday, May 21.
Here’s a look at some of the restaurants that are scheduled to have their patios open today:
Angelo’s Nido Italia
The Little Italy restaurant will have Ronnie Clinton performing at 6:30 p.m.

The multiple Burntwood Taverns will be open noon to 8 p.m. Curbside pickup and new online ordering will continue. A limited menu will include new items for spring. All-day happy hour will be offered on bottles, draft, house wines and signature cocktails, plus half-price wine bottles for a limited time. The restaurant also offers a chance for folks to buy an individually wrapped meal for local front-line healthcare workers. Burntwood Tavern will deliver the meals to a hospital, firehouse or police station.

GV’s wine bar and eatery, The Crush House, will reopen. Nearly half of the restaurant’s seating is outdoors, between the front patio and wrap-around balcony on the upper level, which overlooks the estate. During the first week of reopening, reservations are strongly recommended for the 50-plus outdoor seats (weather permitting). Note: Reservations are temporary and will conclude Thursday, May 21. The Crush House initially will reopen its dining room with special hours for lunch and dinner, noon to 8 p.m. Monday to Saturday. The indoor dining room and tasting bar will reopen Thursday, May 21. Once the restaurant reopens for indoor dining, all guests will be seated first-come, first-served inside and outside. The restaurant will continue to offer carryout and curbside service during the same hours.
