Bhumi Pednekar took to her Instagram handle to share that she is giving up non-vegetarian and food to go fully vegetarian. Posting a note on social media, she wrote how eating meat just didn’t feel good anymore. Bhumi also shared that she has been doing this for a few months and feels good about her decision.
BHUMI ON ADOPTING VEGETARIANISM
Bhumi wrote she had been contemplating vegetarianism for a few years. The note reads, “For many years I had the want to go vegetarian. But breaking habits are very tough.” She further added why she took this step. “My journey with Climate Warrior taught me a lot. It made me more compassionate towards other species and made me more humble. Eating meat just didn’t feel good anymore. So I took a decision in the lockdown and did what I was contemplating to do for a while now and one day I announced to the fam, that I’m giving up non-vegetarian food. Today it’s been a few months and I feel good, guilt-free and physically strong (sic),” she wrote.

Bhumi Pednekar recently wrapped up the dubbing for her next film Durgavati, the Hindi remake of a Telugu horror film, Bhaagamathie. Taking to Instagram, she shared a pic and wrote, “Dub Completed My life is now more like Rasode Main Kaun Tha? Actually Darwaze ke peeche kaun tha ? Bye Durgavati, see you the other side #Durgavati #11ThDec (sic).”
The film is slated to release on Amazon Prime Videos on December 11. The film was initially slated to release in theatres, but will be taking the digital release route on account of the novel coronavirus pandemic. Bhumi was last seen in Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare alongside Konkona Sensharma.
